In the book of Isaiah we read: “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)
Life is not meant to be just one struggle after another, one burden on top of another. God created us to be ones who would live an abundant life. Genesis 1:26-28 tells us two very important truths: One is that we are created in the very image of God. We have within us the very DNA of our Father. The other is that we have been given by Divine Covenant the authority and power of Dominion Rule in our lives.
All this tells me that my life is to be one of joy, peace, victorious faith, abundant inheritance, overwhelming Love, and so much more. All of which the world has no power to destroy because of who I am and God’s destiny for me.
I am not suggesting that life does not have its share of mountains. By that I mean, circumstances that seem much bigger than us, that stand in our way trying to block any progress. Circumstances that, by their very nature, are painful and can at times be dangerous and beyond explanation.
But, such circumstances can never dictate to me the reality, the true reality, of my life. It’s time, I believe, to stop-breathe deep-and reclaim the words of Isaiah…and, begin to rise on the wings of eagles once more.
This simple track came very organically. It’s simply layered guitar with an underpinning of an atmosphere of the ‘heavenlies’. It’s purpose is just as simple: to draw you, the listener, into the place where you will let go and begin to rise all of life’s turmoil, and to begin once more to breathe deep the air of heaven.
